2. Position Your Transfer
-
Lay your Golden State DTF transfer film design-side up on the garment.
 -
Ensure it’s aligned and centered.

3. Press the Transfer
-
Set your heat press to 300–315°F with firm pressure.

Press the transfer for 10 to 15 seconds.

4. Peel the Film

Cold Peel Option: Wait 10–20 seconds and peel once it cools for a smoother finish.

5. Second Press (Highly Recommended)
-
Cover the design with a Teflon sheet or parchment paper.

Press again for 5 seconds to lock in durability, smooth the print, and improve wash resistance.

⚠️ Common Pressing Mistakes to Avoid
-
Low pressure → Can cause transfers to peel
 -
Too short press time → Ink won’t fully bond to fabric
 -
Wrong temperature → May result in faded prints or partial adhesion
 -
No second press → Can reduce durability and wash life

Need Help?
If your transfer didn’t apply correctly, double-check your:
-
Heat press temperature accuracy (use a laser thermometer if needed)
 -
Garment material — some blends need slight pressure/time adjustments
 -
Pressure level — most failures are due to not using firm enough pressure
